All great answers! Sounds like it’s way over what my body can do by myself at my age, so I’ll look into a contractor. Thanks all for your feedback. This site is great.

It looks like special MS isn't very widely used anymore, but a SS, Slow set, vs MS, medium set, Slow Set would be fine as well. It actually would give you more time to spread sand on it. That can be done with shovels and sling it, if it's fairly small, a 3 point spreader, or a sand truck. You over apply the sand, and then either let rain wash the extra off, or you could broom it off a few days later. In the mean time, you can drive over it fine. You wouldn't want to drive over the bare prime.
