Dt466 not firing on front cylinder.

I plan on buying a truck with a international dt466. It smokes like a tar hill and I pretty quickly figured out the front cylinder isn’t firing. I’m thinking either the injector is stuck open or that cylinder has no compression. I’ll probably put another injector in that cylinder and see if that fixes it. Any other ideas? And I’ll probably drive it 10 miles home with 5 cylinders. Is there any problem there?

swap the dead cylinder's injector with another cylinder injector and see if it fires and the other cylinder goes dead.
