Duetz engine

lacoryaI have a duetz d6006 and I've change piston rings and rod barings and oil pump but my oil light is still coming on and there is black smoke coming from manifold...and it is getting a little warm were water sizzle when you throw on the block could it be out of time?????? Need answers plz!!

If it is air cooled, given the information, your oil pump may be worn or oil pump inlet plugged. Oil helps cool the engine.

hook a oil pressure gauge on it to see if you have any pressure 1st
