Well at this point I guess I'm focused on the 2710. That seems like the right size for me. My next step is to find a decent price on one. My dealer's quote on the 2410 was really high, so I'm not expecting his 2710 pricing to be an easier. If I can't find a decent price, I may wait until spring for the purchase.

This forum has been extremely helpful. I'm still shopping. When I finally buy something, I'll post the details of the story!

ericsink, I'm looking into larger tractors right now, and being helped by the folks here as well. Have you looked at http://www.carverequipment.com? Steve Carver currently shows a B 2710 hst with R4 tires and 72 inch Mid Mount Mower. only one @ $14,799. (http://carverequipment.com/cool_season_new.htm).
