I've got a spot down in the lower part of the property where I am clearing a trail.
Across this trail is a 3/4 inch steel cable. It runs into high weeds on both sides.
Your post has made me decide that I mite not want to know where it leads to.
I think I'll just leave it there across the path.
Another lesson I learned:
When I mow with one side in a ditch, no matter how shallow, the tractor leans.
That leaning doesn't make a big difference on a riding lawn mower.
But on a tractor the rear tires are tall enough that the top of the tire is significantly out of line with the bottom of the tire.
And so far every re-match of the tractor tire vs mailbox, the tire wins.
