Anyone have dump trailer plans for a 10-12 foot model ? I have been collecting parts for a build. I have ten pieces of ten foot five inch channel ( nice hd pieces ) and two Dexter 8k brake axels with springs and eight bolt hubs. A local custom metal shop will bend up 12' 1/8" sheet metal ( two pieces 4x12 metal and bending ) for a little less than seven hundred. ( $550. for 10' ) Have a free cylinder and mechanism from a five yard box. I don't know if the cylinder will work with an electric battery style pump due to the volume of oil needed. If I found a good example I probably could measure a factory built unit.

the size of the cylinder will not really matter. only thing if its to big it will be very slow. But even the manufactured units are not quick with a 12v pump. those pumps have good pressure just not volume, it takes more power to have more volume. If you get this project done and want it faster you may want to use a gas powered pump, which in nice in one way you don't need to have a battery on the unit.

sounds like a fun project, I am lucky and have a brother with a dump trailer I can use at will
