Since you're going be using class IIII hitch, I would highly recommend anti swaybar+weight distributing hitch being added. (anti-swaybar on the hitch itself.)
When I use my Silverado pulling about 3 tons of gravel on my six x ten dump trailer, if they load the gravel on the rear a bit heavy. Mine can get pretty sway happy under load, even with the weight distribution hitch with anti sway bar attached. My 1/2 ton struggles with getting back under control at times. ( because of the z71 suspension).
Also make sure you have trailer brake control.
