With a double acting cylinder you only have to make up the volume occupied by the rod. With a single acting cylinder, you also need to make up the volume of the whole cylinder.I'm running a double acting 4x48 off the remotes of mine without problem. I wouldn't be the least bit worried about 3 quarts. If you are concerned, do the math on how much fluid the loader uses to be at max height with the bucket dumped compared to on the ground with the bucket curled all the way back. I'm sure that would be a similar number.

Our B7500 has issues running the cylinder on the dump wagon (single acting 5 or 6x30ish?) but the L3830 has no problems with it.
