Spent some time with the welder this week (mostly today), got the holes from the old stake pockets covered and welded shut.
Now I am ready to trim a quarter inch off the two sides and square up the ends of the boards, then I can install the ice and water shield and set the steel deck on top of it.
One of my helpers got to make their first welds today and greatly enjoyed it:

Also put a hose to the top port in the cylinder so that I have power down. No pictures of that yet though.
