Dunhan disc set

Picked up a disc set this weekend. It is certainly not the type I was shopping for, but it was close and cheap. It measures about 66" wide and about 110' long. Made by Dunham it is a bit heavier than I thought.

Put my L3400 up on three wheels when I hit a rut while unloading it with the FEL. I should have known to put something on the back for ballast.

There is a crank handle to change the angle of all 4 axles. I played with it a little and think I will add some weight to the weight boxes. Other than that, it will do for now.

Looks interesting....and I bet it will work pretty nice for you.....cause Dunham is a good brand in equipment from time gone by....IMO. Are these discs meant to pull as offset type discs or as a disc harrow? I dont understand the settings available....but it looks interesting to putz with. Some pics of ground you worked would be neat. What is a "reasonable" price for this disc?

I do have a pic of an area that I had plowed up about 3 weeks ago, (while playing with my new plow

) that I ran over about 3 times. I paid $75.00 for this. Think I did OK?

That is a very nice looking finish. It buried the growth completely. What size are the discs? Great buy

The discs measure about 16" in diameter. I think I'll make up some wooden boxes to put on the weight trays. I have about 1 1/2 five gallon buckets of wheel weights in the corner of the garage that I hate to keep moving.

Dirt Ditch, you said it. I love the old iron. For as small as this set is, it's built way better than the any of the mid priced new stuff I have looked at. Not to mention, at 75 bucks, I can buy another piece of equipment.
