I put an hour meter on mine and run it at a remote barn site when needed. I had it 3 years or so but only have 40 hours or so on it. Never had a problem with starting. never used gasoline, only propane... I ran it for an hour or so a few weeks ago and it sounded like I had a bad plug or something. After checking a little closer I found I had the choke set at 50%. All is good.
I have a battery tender on it all the time and only use electric start but it starts every time after 3 seconds of turning...except when you run it dry of propane. Then it cranks a much longer time.
I got it mostly for power tools and table saws etc. and my welder and works great for welding at 140 amps on the welder. I would buy it again.
Considering it would have cost $600 a year to have electricity in my barn, I got it paid for two years ago.
