AMPA.. do you know the part number for the 5 terminal Kubota switch that you purchased. I have a dealer near my work and could see if they have or could get the part.
There is also a MF deal next door to them. I have been told that Hinonoto made the MF 205. I bought a 205 owners manual years ago. The tractors do look the same except the 205 had a larger piston size and a few cosmetic differences. Do you know if possibly a 205 ignition switch might be the same as mine?
I had the box the switch came in for a long time beside my computer...I think my lady may have moved it or threw it out....I know the part # is on my original reciept.... I must tell you my filing system really sucks...what I done was take the old switch from my ISEKI to the Kubota dealer...and the young fellow matched it up....the switch was ordered for someone else who didn't bother to pick it up...so it went back into stock....he even knocked a little off the price if I remember correctly....I'm guessin' there may have been a deposit placed on it....anyhow thats what I would do...I know for a fact that an older Case 255 has quite a few parts that are cosmetic the same as my tractor....as goes with many other different brands to your tractor....my tractor originaly used two switches like the crappy old keyed switch and a plain turn switch for the glow plugs and start....the one Kubota switch now does everything....I installed a cigarette lighter to fill the empty hole on the dash complete with fuse to run any DC accesories I may wish to use..just make a diagram of the wiring and even the dealership will explain what each wire lug is for....you'll be glad you used a key switch for piece of mind and keepin' your tractor original...I know I am...I could have used toggle switches straight from the battery source.....Ampa
