Early onset curmudgeon syndrome

I guess EOCS is the same as not having much "give a ship".

I walked out on a car sales lady recently. Thought we had a price agreed, they printed up the paperwork, the price was $2k more. I asked her ,she said "you don't qualify for all the rebates". Then she said very sarcastically, "didn't you read the disclaimer, it was all in the disclaimer."

I just said I don't do business this way. Got up and walked out. I had my keys with me. I seldom trade.

I beat their price, and told her later that i beat it.

Never argue with an idiot, they will only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. (This was on my wall at work - jest read the posts and see Hawkeye08 already posted this - worth repeating)

I had a 98 jeep wrangler for 12 years....I don't even know what a whatever cuntry lift even is....

My daughter said just last week "dad, don't be that grumpy guy"...over a stupid cashier i was telling her about. .....

In the last year I have noticed my tolerance level has dropped A LOT...

The only reason some people are alive is because it's illegal to kill them....

Deep breath, I'm done.

I've never suffered fools well and am generally considered cheap and grumpy. Imagine this then, how am I going to make it until my four year old son moves out of the house. I'm 52...

About 26 years ago I worked with an idiot that didn't know how to give a straight answer. I'd ask a pertinent question and he would reply "why?", as in why did you ask me that question. One day I asked, when are you going to be finished with that bandsaw and he replied "why?". My reply was this in a very loud voice, "listen man, obviously I need the saw! If you're going to ask me why I'm asking you a question every time I ask you one we're never going to get anything done around here! Just answer the @*$%# question!

I've always been a curmudgeon.

Our oldest son (15, almost 16, my step son) is bad about that.... and knows it gets on my nerves so he does it more.

My tolerance is used up on our kids... so for the rest of the world, sorry about yer luck, don't p!$$ me off.

Logically people aged 50 + are generally dumber than the younger generation because of improvements in recent decades on health and safety requirements, such as improvements in diets, banning of lead in petrol and paints and so on. So, please remember that the young irritating salesman knew your needs better than you but you weren't intelligent enough to understand this. Hoping this post will change you from a grumpy curmudgeon to a happy blithering idiot that always believes whatever the last person told you.
