Little or no gain! :confused2: Your kidding right. No dust or snow being kicked up with a stack. No soot.
The stack makes the tactor look like a "real" tractor. Then there's the cool factor and the fact not everyone will have it. Yes it's allot of work but the best route to go BUT that's just my opinion

If I want to look like I have a "real tractor" what ever that means, I will go buy an MX135. I don't notice anything blowing while I'm in the tractor. That's the point. I didn't know that it did at all until I watched someone else drive it. And it's not bad at all even at high RPM. So the stack is unnecessary for me and therefor no gain for me. For me it would be like putting stacks on my Powerstrokes. I won't do it. I own big trucks with stacks and only because they came with it. If they came with "weed burner" exhaust, I'd leave it that way.

Thanks HC, nice work, the pic say it all..I missed 4 shorts...JY.
Your welcome and thanks. Obviously may not be everyone's ideal solution, but it works great for me. Maybe for someone else too.

4 years on mine already,, When you think it will start breaking down ???

Good for you. I stand corrected. How many hours? 4 years @ 40 hrs or 1000 hrs? Just curious. It's been my experience that rubber doesn't last, even in it's ideal conditions. That's why they sell new hoses.

I have an update on my exhaust mod. Thus far I have been very happy, although, I just found where all of the soot is going now. It just so happens that the inside of my right front wheel is now black from soot. :smiley_aafz: So not only was this not a perfect fix, but I have to swallow my pride and say that 4shorts was right about the stack being better. Just though I would let everyone know so hopefully you don't make my mistake. Guess it's back to the drawing board. Maybe I'll do a chrome stack. Kidding

Ah your a good man to be able to come back and give an honest review of the exhaust. You've earned my respect for what ever that's worth.:confused2:
In the mean time IF you decide to go the way I did and you need some help just pm me. Hope your enjoying your very nice tractor. :)

Not having a picture of what you did complicates my vision. My NH TC55 exhaust exits in the lower front corner which causes no problem at all. Its tight against the grille so it doesn't get caught on tree limbs or debris your loader misses. I would not change a thing.

If you look on the first page of the thread, I show step by step, my modification.
