I've even got the sliding pull handle and the rear wheel wrench.....would take a while to find it, but it's here somewhere.

A red flag for me would be any seller who didn't want to use standard payment systems, I.E. Charge card if it's a business or paypal for an individual.

Most EBAYers have something in their approach to selling that is out of the box. Just about every purchase I've ever made had some sort of hoop to jump through. I never saw it coming because of nearly 3000 sales WITHOUT any negative feedback showing on the seller. After the sale ended, I see why. This guy is an extortionist. Oh well, I FINALLY got my top link, so this round is a draw. I was surfing EBAY yesterday and found another "gotta have" item. The same guy was selling this one too. I didn't "gotta have" as bad as I first thought. He'll sell this item, just NOT to me.

A bigger "red flag" than not accepting Pay Pal was not accepting POSTAL money orders. Any improprieties involving them could get him in the midst of a mail fraud charge.

Big Brother (EBAY) is watching this guy real close now.

I wonder If you were to purchase with a credit card & the item don't get sent, if you can have the credit card co. contact them or put that amount in protest?

I always pay through pay-pal using a credit card and if the deal goes south your credit card company will dispute it for you. Then the burden of the seller getting paid (or pay pal) lays on them to prove the sent the item as promised. Until you tell the credit card company your satisfied the money never gets transferred to the seller. I've used this method and the end result has been I was satisfied with the transaction. (after a long wait) e-bay and pay-pal are basically no help at all in a dispute. so my motto is use the credit card, it's the only leverage you have.

All's well

Seller still insist's he'll give ME bad feedback on EBAY if I do the same to him. EBAY let him know that wasn't right, but can do little to stop him. I've decided to just let it drop. Post NO feedback.

Lesson learned.

What some of us obsessed tractor nuts won't go through in order to restore our toys. ;)

Which one of these ways did you learn it?
