Ebay is a great way to advertise items. A ton of people know
how to access ebay. It's also possible here in the NW to
access all the "nickel ad" papers and search one time and
bring up all kinds of stuff. I haven't had the need to do it
for awhile and I never remember how to right off, but it's
possible.
I would think on an expensive purchase it would be worthwhile
to have a dealer mechanic swing by and look at the tractor, or
like you mentioned someone you trust to at least let you know
the basic condition.
After this experience I'll never assume something I see on
ebay is owned by the person listing it though, what with seeing
MY OWN tractor listed by someone else!/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
