Anyone own one? I have seen a lot of their “backhoe pro” trailers around. Heard the inside wheels on the funky tandems can be a hassle.

Curious as well. Been looking for a pintle air brake trailer and these pop up often.

I have one and has been great. Deck over tilt bed. Other than tires and brake pads (normal Maintenace) it has been trouble free. Toes very well good tracking.

I’m interested in this one to pull heavy equipment behind my dump truck and work as a hay hauler for large square bales in addition to my existing gooseneck.

It has the ability to be a flat hay hauler across the entire length & width, but also can tilt for equipment.
Tire all appear to match. Seller says it is currently road inspected. Waiting for him to get back to me with the length of the deck.

Reviving this old thread. Looking at a 12-ton Econoline tomorrow.
Has the funky spaced-out tandems.
Anyone heard bad/good?
Can’t really get much info, but the inside wheel looks like it’s tough to access.

If I understand what you are saying about the spaced out wheels, the inside tire is like 18"-24" away from the outside tire? I was looking at the Econoline website but I did not see a photo.

If what I am thinking is correct, this is not a new design. Contractor's that I worked for in the sixties had trailers with this design. They worked fine but yes, you had to crawl under the trailer to access the inner wheels.

When I here the word Econoline, I run. The word means CHEAP and FLIMSY. It is the low line models.

They sure put a lot of them out on the road, too.
It’s funny how when I respond to a Econoline trailer seller on FBM, they immediately drop their price, offer to deliver, etc.
Tells me they are a tough to unload = nobody likes them.

I have a

7-Ton Deckover Multi-Purpose Tilt

It has been great trailer. Well built and pulls well.

Maybe the heavier built units with the wonky rear axles that have separate brakes and mini axles are less desirable?
