EF 1 drive conversion

I have an EF1 and love it, except for the 2 wheel traction. Is it possible to replace the drive train with the 4 wheel drive train from an EF2?

Anything is possible with time and money but I would not think it is economically sensible to swap the drive train from a EF2 to EF1. There are not a lot of Earth Force machines out there to start with and a quick Google search didn't find even one salvage model so where would you even find a drive train donor? If you just have to have an EF2, sell your 2WD and find a 4x4 model.

Yea i realize it may seem far fetched but i thought i would throw it out there. An EF2 is a bit pricey especially not knowing if i could sell the EF1.
