Electric quick connect

Deffinately the anderson connector is the way to go!

Used on electric fork lifts, tow truck booster cables, anywhere high amperage is involved!

All my vehicles are 'anderson' setup as well as my booster cables.

I use the smaller series on my snow blower electric shute rotator as well.
(I rotate with a electric ATV winch!)

TSC has a connector kit for the winches they sell, should work for your app. No idea of the brand or price.

The ones used on tow trucks, golf carts, forklifts come in a couple of sizes. The large ones are on my booster cables and 8000lb winches as well. the small ones are on my ATV winches. Each size of housing can be had with various sized wire inserts....(Solder them on, don't just try to crimp them) If your insert is a little too small you can carefully drill it a bit larger.
They work great and can be found at auto supply stores. Don't forget to give them a smear of dielectric grease though if you are around moisture as the hot side can corrode after a few years....

SB-50 Connector. These connectors are EXCELLENT.
Have one on the front and one on the back of my L3400. Can move my Warn Works winch from front to back.
I also used these connectors on my camper. No more grabbing the wrench to disconnect my batteries. Just un-plug them.
Very versatile connector.

BTW, Powerwerx is the cheapest place I have found the Anderson Power poles. At the price they sell them for, you can keep a dozen on hand for whatever project comes up.

wel l, I was going to tell you all about the wonderful anderson powerpoles, but I see many already have. We "Hams" use them all the time.. takes a little practice and care to crimp on the connectors, but all in all a good connector
