ELON MUSK'S NEW CAR

So much for Toyota not pursuing improved electric vehicles and staying with hydrogen.

Unless someone finds a way to split hydrogen from water for almost nothing (like Stan Meyer may have) battery electric is the future. Maybe they do have a new proven highly efficient solid state battery.

This underscores why Toyota fire- saled the hydrogen model.

Toyota is pursuing improving electric vehicle.

"Finally, Toyota envisions a second, more advanced solid-state battery arriving after 2028. That solid-state battery will deliver 50 percent more range than the 2026 next-gen lithium ion battery — indicating a target driving range of around 932 miles."

Toyota is also doubling the size of it new battery manufacturing facility in NC,

Just to double down on jmo. See my Post #2 of this thread.

As i wrote, have no problem with Hydrogen for certain applications, just agree with Elon Musk concerning energy input versus output and the "cost" of high pressure hydrogen systems versus full electric vehicles.

EV's have a way to go as far as safety (Fires) but If Toyota really has a Solid state battery that is comercializable lt should address the fire concerns.
Hope Toyota has what they say they do.
High pressure Hydrogen for passenger vehicles Is Not it.
