I think you mean rockshaft, Ralph...

I was of the impression there is no down force on the 3PH...not on CUT's anyway. I thought it was strictly the weight of the implement.

Pete, George Thank you. I now know something /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif about my 430 that the owners manual says nothing about (or at least I couldn't find it). While I currently have no front implements for it I at least know why the inboard lever locks in but does nothing when I engauge it.

I was bored a couple weeks ago and played with the 18" hydraulic cylinder on a log splitter I was building to see what locking the lever forward did and nothing happened. Now I know what it is. Thanks
