Well amazingly enough I got that block heater put in before the snow flew. It came with only one M8x16 bolt because you are supposed to use the ground wire bolt for the other hole. I guess mine had a redesign because my ground wire wasn't anywhere near there. It also said to hammer a punch into the left side of the freeze plug until the right side popped out so you could grab it with pliers. Just my luck the left side went in and the right side stayed put. I was pretty nervous about my chances of marring the machined surface while attempting to dig it out. I found that digging a screwdriver into it and pulling moved it pretty easy. Avoided disaster with that one.

Same with mine; I had to pick up an additional bolt.

TIP: In the summer, you can use a garden hose cap --the threads are the same-- to cover the heater after removing & storing the electrical cord.
