So I am seriously thinking about buying a CT335 and I realize that I don't know who makes the engine in a Bobcat/Kioti.
Little help?

6-16-13, well done! Did you need any special tools?, what parts did you replace...? Tell us more...Daedong in South Korea builds the engine and tractor. I get confused sometimes as to who owns who, but I think Doosan owns both Bobcat and Daedong, but Daedong sells the Kioti line while Doosan has started importing these as Bobcats. I may have that order wrong though.
I rebuilt the engine on my 95 model LK3054 and I can say they are well built, simple and rugged.
Daedong is a separate entity. Doosan bought Bobcat a few years ago from Ingersoll-Rand (they may have bought IR, too, I don't remember).
I have had a 335 for almost a year now, having put over 100hrs, (400+ total) I can say that the ct335 is an excellent tractor in all areas. I have the shuttle model and planed on keeping it for a couple years and flipping it however the more I run it the more I plan on keeping it.
I believe there were some 2013 models but I don't think very many. I'm not exactly sure the date they decided to pull the plug. Too bad seemed like a good fit I know I love mine. Where is it that your local dealer is located?
