I have always used one of the Shell Rotella oils in all my diesels. I would advise that if you switch from the Case oil, you should go with a larger name brand such as Shell Rotella or Chevron Delo and you will be fine.

Case doesn't refine oil. One of the major manufacturers does it for them.

Like Tom said, just use a good name brand diesel rated oil and you'll be fine.

G'day I have been told that Fuch's supplies the oil for initial fill to alot of manufacturers case included, a grren machine owner took alot of convincing that JD did not refine their own oil until I showed him the small fuchs logo on the drum.
