Little late but, have you looked at one of these
New and Improved Original Heat Induction Tool | BOLT BUSTER - HEAT INDUCTION TOOL
Its an induction heater, it has a wire you can wrap around hydraulic hose ends, get them hot without burning the equipment up. Smaller bolts works real well and beats price for torch set.

As long you have the room, I use for nuts like thoes plow bolts and nuts a nut cracker. They work real good and fast, you could of had that nut off in about 10 mins.

Yep, Nut Buster or Nut splitter is what I have.

Those nut splitters look like a handy tool. Appear from a quick search to be a wide range of this in both price and review ratings. Anyone have a recommendation?

No recommendations but the inexpensive ones gall the threads quite easily. Oil does help this.

Finally got the coulters and joiners moved to my Newgren plow. This plow, designed to be used on a farm jeep, uses the spare tire for a landside wheel depth gauge. Thanks again for all the great advice here.
