This thread applies to my issue with Error Code 14. I have a 3720 (bought 2008). The reverse pedal acted up and had to be pushed all the way down to go to move in reverse. Then it would not move at all, forward was OK. I crawled under and jiggled the wires and the reverse pedal worked...for awhile. This process repeated for awhile. But then both forward and reverse pedals stopped working. Error Code 14 was displayed. I called JD and they sent a tech out who worked on it. Wires, solenoids and speed sensor (in the hydraulic fluid) checked out. No luck so he said he had to consult with others and check the diagrams. He called back and said I needed a new speed sensor which I approved. When the speed sensor came in, the tractor was able to go forward but not reverse. He recommended hauling the 3720 to the shop so the dealer picked it up. Over a month has gone by. We heard it needed a software update, but then the dealer did not have cables to hook up to do diagnostic testing (apparently can't get them, because our tractor is "old."). Now the tech has determined that a Hall Effect Sensor is needed so we aproved and are waiting. Any thoughts? Thanks for your time!
