Error Code ?

I have an error code on my tractor that "doesn't exist" for this make and model.
the code is
ICC A 3352.07

I went up to the dealer and they could not find that code for this make and model machine (2016 3039R with 105 hrs).

Has anyone else seen this?

Find a different dealer.

You have a John Deere product, and a competent John Deere dealer should be able to find out about an error code on any John Deere product. Perhaps the dealer misunderstood the actual error code? Can you send the dealer a photo of the code?

In surfing the net, it is apparent that this particular code is not easily available to any dealer.

I photoed the dash board code to ensure that no mistake was made and showed that to the dealer.

He thought that the low RPM work my wife was doing with it might have had some effect and that running it at a higher load may burn off some carbon build up. That hasn't seemed to help in limited use on Saturday, so we may have to return and have them tear it down a bit.

Internet forum discussions mention exhaust issues are likely the cause.

I would like to stick with this dealer because he is close (~2 miles) and where I purchased the tractor. It is still under warranty.

All the dealer needs to do is call JD tech support and get a case started...no problem. Just keep the pressure on them.

With your dealer in the middle of corn and bean country, likely a busy time for them keeping those half million dollar combines running. Not that it is an excuse for the scut customers, but might be the reason to be "busy" frying bigger fish.

Yes, and yes.

But Central Iowa is not exactly in the middle of harvest right now. We are in the middle of waiting for a little precision drought.

XXXXXX.07 in the Deere world is a reference to a circuit/function mismatch. Desired and actual are not the same

FMI numbers are the number AFTER the decimal point. SPN numbers are the first numbers.

I found the code. Tractor will not perform Regen

It's referring to the exhaust throttle valve. It is either not working or is out of adjustment. I'm betting it is a bad actuator. But I'd verify power and such before replacing it

I was off in Wyoming chasing mule deer for the past 10 days or so. Hence, I've been slow to respond.

Thanks for all of these comments! They were really helpful. I think all of you focused around the exhaust/regen system and I believe that was the issue.

Before leaving on my trip, I went up to the dealer and told them what all of you had said and told them I needed the tractor fixed because it wasn't going to fix itself. It took them 11 days, but they got it done and delivered just before I returned home. The only diagnosis I have gotten from them so far is "broken connector," which I suspect is the exhaust valve actuator connector .

On starting the tractor last night, it both sounds and smells different and better.

They could have done a bit better the first time I walked in, but I will write it off to being in the middle of harvest season when little 3039r look pretty trivial next to the rigs they are leasing and maintaining for people who are racing mold and rot and bankers right now.

I understand that. I run a service truck for a Deere construction company. We are known for our customer service. Trust me, I've been on the dark side of taking care of a customer. Around here the AG guys are a bit different than us construction guys.
