a 18" pipe wrench will loosen those "cranky" bolts.
Its especially handy when shoved into a piece of 1-1/2" sch. 40 about 3' long.
Try that before you go spending a bundle on those "weird" metric things.

Oh yea...I don't own an LS tractor.
I do own an LG television however....

When I got my first tractor I saw right off that the sockets and wrenches I had were not large enough. Harbor Freight had a sale on 3/4" drive sockets (7/8-2") (19mm-50mm) in SAE and Metric, ratchet, breaker bar and extension. I was in Africa at the time, so I had the wife pick up a set of both. I have used t from smallest to largest, but not everything in between. I use them on my 650 ft. pound impact gun with no damage. I don't think they were but $29.95 and have a life time guarantee. The keeper ball that holds the socket on popped out of the ratchet when I rapped it on my disc to dislodge the attached socket and they gave me a new one, no questions asked. They may not be Snap-on quality, but with a lifetime warranty, who cares if something breaks. I have put a 4 foot cheater on the breaker bar tightening a lift pin and it held as much as my 240 pounds could put on it.
Edit: I also bought their large wrench set @ HF from 1" up to 2" size IIRC. I now have sockets and wrenches from 1/4"-2" and in metric size 4mm-50mm to match. I also picked up the new thru the socket set for the smaller bolts. This eliminate the long bolt that you cant tighten with a socket as the bolt will just go up thru the socket just like using a boxed in wrench. They come in handy sometimes when needed, but mostly just stay in the tool box. Nothing worse than needing a wrench or other gadget that you don't have and have to run out to NAPA to find it. I had to do that when I changed my oil that required a 19mm Hex wrench. I didn't have anything nearly that large, but I do now.

Good idea ... of course, these tractors are so reliable, you'll only need the tools necessary to keep your loader bolts tight and your filters/fluids changed.

;)

R4041H update. 19 hours. Tightened loader bolts (22mm) with my new tools today. About half of the bolts needed a 1/2 turn and a couple needed a full turn. The bolts on the lower arms that go back to rear axle were really loose.. Thanks to you guys at TBN for clueing me in.
The tractor has a small coolant leak near the water pump bolts, tried tightening bolts but still leaks when engine is cold, when engine warms it doesn't leak. I think gasket might be bad. Dealer is picking tractor up Wednesday to repair, has anybody else heard of this problem on LS tractors? Other than the leak everything is great. I love my Tractor so far and my wife thinks my tractor is sexy. ;)

That is the first time I've heard of it ... could it be that the house was over tightened and cracked?

Well I guess that's what warranties are for. It will be a good test for how my dealer takes care of me.

Does anyone know if everything is metric? Like the hydro hose fittings, Grease zerks, any Allen Head bolts, torx?

Beyond normal stuff every gear head should already have, are there any tractor specific tools one should have on hand?
