Ethanol Free Gas

^^^ I can't speak for everywhere, but the station I got mine from is the only one for many miles, at least that I know of. They use a surface tank that can't be more than 500 gallons. First time I saw the place, there was a fancy bass boat guy pulling up to it. I'm not sure how much he took, but probably more than I use in my mowers in several months. Based on that, I'd say their fuel is reasonably fresh during summer months.

I buy over 200 gallons of non ethanol myself a year.

Every time I make a purchase it is 3 - 6 gallon jugs.......

I don't understand what you are trying to say??

He's showing that there's a separate hose for the ethanol-free gas, so unlike the post he was referring to there is no ethanol contaminated gas in the hose as you start to pump the ethanol-free stuff.

In my state, there is no provision to purchase E free at the pump. I can buy a 5 gal. jug of it for $80 at the outdoor shop. Hmm...$16 a gallon.
I do believe ethanol is a scam in a modern day fuel injected engine, much like fluoride being dumped into our drinking water. Then you wonder how our elected officials become millionaires while sitting in congress.
Perhaps they should put statins in our drinking water next.

Same here in Nevada. Ethanol-free gas comes from its own nozzle.

Got it... I have it either way, buy it at the regular pump OR pay at least 50 cents a gal. more, to go down the road to the next station to a dedicated E free pump.

I don't mind putting a gallon in my pu's tank, OR I have a dedicated can where E fuel doesn't matter and I fill that one first.

I have never seen a separate nozzle, I really wish we had those here rather than getting a hose full of ethanol before the non ethanol gets to the can. When mixing 2 gallons of 2stroke fuel, a hose full is significant. Having to drive a gas vehicle to the station just to be able to run the first gallon or so into the vehicle is a pain.

I had a 2002 Mercury outboard and in 2012 had carb problems....little black bits of fuel line.....I ran ethanol the 10 years I had it.

This summer I bought another boat, also with a 2002 Mercury and the PO only used non-ethanol. I was servicing it recently and ran a swap down a couple of fuel lines.....spotless....Guess what this owner only uses!

I buy mine from a station that has 4 pumps; 2 full service and 2 self service. In both service bays one pump only distributes 87 gasoline and the other pump only distributes 91 gasoline. I use the premium with the outboard and my small engines and it was $2.87 when I filled up a couple of days ago, about 20 cents more than the 93 octane at the ethanol pumps elsewhere.
