Are these any good for snow blading?

Considering putting these on the front of my Agco ST 34 - I have a set of Duo H Pattern for the rear.

Price seems reasonable, just wondering if you all have any experience with this style chain. I hate it when I buy something and then later read about the POS I just purchased.

Never seen such a chain used here in scandinavia, looks like a very light chain and can't be particularly comfortable to drive with, why not go for that you in the US call euro style like Trygg chains or similar.

The company that logged my property had a type like the Trygg SMT Standard( the tire on the right ) on their "recovery" articulated forestry tractor. It tore up the ground, right proper, but exhibited supreme traction. However - it was expected. A 30K pound vehicle - aggressive chains - soft, damp ground. It was easily repaired with my tractor and rear blade.

I had V-bar ladder chains on my previous tractor - Ford 1700 4WD. The rear chains, being specifically for a tractor, were extremely heavy and hard to instal. The front & rear set, together, cost $500 when I bought them about 35 years ago.

Be careful - are those chains you have linked to for automotive use. They may not be designed to take the abuse that a tractor would deal out.

There are a couple of good threads on here comparing different types of chains. That one the OP linked looks like a bit of an oddball to me: not what is commonly referred to as "euro=style" around here.

These are what I think of when I hear "euro-style"
