I would be curious of the % of EV owners that still own an ICE. I'm not against ICE as I have one for a purpose.
What I don't like is people making negative comments about EV's without any personal knowledge of owning and operating one.
There is no point in playing baseball, all one has to do is learn the rules and watch it on TV to know everything there is to know about baseball.

In this wonderful day and age we have the media to effortlessly give us experiences so we don't have to make physical effort.

Good thing we have the media to tell us what and how to think!

I'm not concerned about my EV self combusting any more than I'm worried about my ICE doing the same.
I remember NBC being caught staging an ICE vehicle fire for ratings. They claimed in defense, "We only reenacted what has really been happening." Those were the days when gasoline was a fire hazard!

Err… NO

We’ve been through this false misleading claim here before.
Tesla has only a couple models, so all their total sales get split across just those couple vehicles. Makes it look better than it actually is.

Traditional car companies produce many different models so their production numbers get split many more ways.
You can accurately say Tesla produces the best selling single model. Saying they produce the best selling “products”, as you did, is false.
Toyota seems to have the best selling products just glancing at the top 10
That is terribly flawed logic. You propose Tesla gets a fixed share of the market, only has 5 models, therefore one of those 5 gets proportionately more sales than another automaker offering 30 models.

Each automaker's model stands alone in competition against all other models of all other makes.

Oh not only do you want all EV customers to have exactly the same financial advantages as you ( house with high amp charger in garage, you also want to tell us how to type our responses.
Not at all. But apparently you are not smart enough to have found out you can put the cursor in a reply, then hit return to split it for in-line commenting.

You have no clue. Most of my Tesla Model Y charging has been with a 120V outlet. Partly because I have one of those on the carport, the garage is full (for now), and the maple tree outside the garage (where I could run the WC umbilical under the garage door) drips sap.

Arrogance problems ? Hmmm
If you can't form a proper sentence, spel have rite, etc, then your thoughts are a waste of time for others to try to extract. You forget that when you reply you are asking a favor of others to read it. Who is being arrogant?

Thank you for posting. Now copy that image into Google's image search to find the source.

The part trimmed from the article states, "Using diesel to charge EVs in the outback is greener than you think" (that is the link).

What they found was the BMW i3 went farther on a electricity from a gallon of diesel in that generator than the diesel automobiles under test.

Consider yourself owned. Ka-blam!
So , burning diesel , aka oil, is “green”, according to this EV user’s test, as long as it involved the purchase of an EV. 👍🏻

Guess our country’s power grid stations should go back to burning #2 for electricity, because it’s “green”

And Tesla didn't become #1 until 2023 when the government cash flowed directly to buyers. 😂. They actually lowered the price of some models to make them eligible for the incentives.

So you pick to purchase the rare vehicles that you are not able to do oil changes, that's your poor choice, my GMC truck is simple 15 minute, as are majority, or bring it to quick lube place for 20 minute change. Oh by the way this is a reply that doesn't digress for multiple paragraphs with verbal diarrhea like yours ...... ;)
Yup, super rare and exotic 2018 F-150 XLT Supercab 4x4 2.7EB. Way out of the mainstream.

Hey, but if you think my F-150 is bad you should see how bad the new 4 cylinder Ranger is to change oil.

Of course it is too much to expect of you to have read your owner's manual but having read mine, Ford says to let the oil drain for 15 minutes. Maybe yours says same? If so then a 20 minute quickie ain't gonna happen. Have found if I do not open the oil filter before draining, that 6 quarts is about 1/2 quart too much. Else 6 quarts is a perfect fill.

Do you have anything to contribute concerning EV ownership or looking at EV ownership?
Thought so.
To answer your question EV is not in the room of possibility for me (even if I wanted too which is not the case) due to chargers availability in my region (which is none) and the amount of miles I need to do to get to work (further then their ranges) plus with our winters and frequent road closure it be suicidal (literally) for me to go that route... I would consider hybrid but I am again worried about the reduce batteries life expectancy due to our winter climates. More people are getting them so future will tell.

Pretty good for an automaker who had only been in mass production for 11 years. Building market share every year. One doesn't come from nothing to top cat overnight.

Deliberate disambiguation. The meme tries to play Holier Than Thou picturing an EV charging station on a pallet with a diesel genset. But gets nuked by fact that the BMW i3 made better use of diesel than any of the diesel automobiles. "Making better use" is the true root of conservatism. Greenheads are as irrational as ICEheads.

Guess our country’s power grid stations should go back to burning #2 for electricity, because it’s “green”
Sure! Why don't you do that! I'm not going to stop you.

Guam's electric power grid is essentially diesel powered. "Residual fuel oil" is what Wikipedia calls it.
