Wrong! the intent of this topic was for current EV owners to share experiences and offer advice for "those thinking about EV's".
You aren't thinking about buying an EV are you?

I am in fact. In the next 5-20 years for sure. Thanks for the invite

When the bumper and frame pulled apart or when he towed it in for service? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
The bumper/frame didn't pull apart, it broke when he dropped it 4' onto concrete. Aluminum snaps, but i'm pretty sure steel wouldn't have fared very well either if the same thing happened.

guess I was confusing it with where they used it to pull the f150 out

The original damage occured at 5:26 where the f150 towed the cybertruck off the concrete tubes, then it dropped and hit that solid concrete block with the bumper. But I suspect they didn't know it at the time. Then, immediately after, they tow the f150 with the cybertruck, and the bumper falls off because of the cracked aluminum casting.

Anyone interested in buying a Tesla EV truck , it seems the pricing promised at lainch event years ago ( when people reserve ordered) and now is at least in Canada almost $90,000 more than Musk stated....and in USA similar pricing shenanigans have started ....perhaps the legacy manufacturers like GM and Ford can be trusted better if your considering a EV rig. Just a heads up to help potential EV buyers on TBN Tesla Cybertruck orders open in Canada, starts at $137,990

We were about to put a deposit on one in 2020... At the time the dual motor was like $60k. Looked great when compared to an F150. Now, not so much

After reading through, it’s clear that EV owners are
a) very protective of their turf, to the point of being insulting
b) extremely happy that tax dollars are used to help them
c) Oddly opposed to the collection of taxes from which they benefit
You know what? That is exactly the misbegotten belief of EV haters. Totally opposite of reality.

Well, but for taxes. Everyone should take every advantage of any tax break available. The only way to break politicians of selectively giving out tax breaks is to bankrupt them by collecting the tax breaks.
