The FSD Supervised is not quite like the little helper in the car.

ps. I see the newest update Tesla gave us "ASS, Actually Smart Summon".

May try it out in a parking lot - if no other cars are close.

Hate to be like the guy that ripped the front off of a VW owners car.

My little helper would also never let me live it down if I screw it up.:)

Saw a lot of Tesla vehicles on the road in San Diego last week including Cybertrucks, and quite a few Rivians. After topping off the rental Escalade with a cost of $47 for 9.7 gallons at $4.89/gal, I could see why it would be worth it for a daily commuter vehicle. The Escalade had the 6.2 gas motor and only showed 250 miles of range on a full tank. My Yukon Denali with the 3.0 Duramax shows 600 miles of range on a full tank, same tank size of 24 gallons. Coming back from DFW Airport I averaged 28 mpg in the Yukon. With diesel at $2.73/gal I am happy with that.

$2.73 for diesel that's about a buck cheaper than red diesel for the tractor here.

Tesla Robo taxi confirmed wireless charging efficiency well over 90% at least at 25kw charge rate.

This will be a nice feature for lazy EV owners that can't be bothered with plugging and unplugging the car on next gen Tesla's.

I could see this as a Much safer way to public charge in a bad neighborhood. Without a breakaway adapter their is no driving off without getting out of the vehicle.

In an emergency cancelling the charge and driving off should be possible.

I didn't think that was available in the Y, only the S and X?

It showed up as a new install yesterday on my phone and was in the update.

"ASS" should show up in your Tesla app if you have 2024.32.10

Remember, Tesla Never sits Still :)

ps. new Tesla autopilot safety data released, accidents dropped again,
down to one in every 7.08 million miles driven.

I think you’re mischaracterizing people who want this convenience feature. Unless you’re ready to label yourself lazy, because you have power windshield wipers, power windows, power door locks, power seats, power mirrors, self dimming mirrors….instead of manual operation.

Found that! Now wondering if it goes away when FSD trial ends? Release notes doesn’t say either way.
