You can always build your own air dryer system. Inter cooler, and after cooler. I get about 275 to 300-feet of cutting before I see any change in the electrode, or nozzle.

You guys are going to scare woodlandfarms to death with all this fancy cooler, intercooler, desiccant, etc., etc. talk!!!!

Give the poor guy a break! His wife is already on the warpath. All those lines running through her kitchen and having to tear the coils out of the refrigerator are going to end up in his demise.

That is a great setup. At work we have a refrigerated air dryer, and a bunch of filters. Plasma consumables last nearly forever. Good air is the key.

That's not fooling anyone. I know what that is designed to do.

BTW...the 200ST manual is loaded. Let me know if there are any questions or you find something glaring wrong. After you look at these pages for so long you tend to become blind to errors.

"Nice job, Steve. Gotta love those swivel joints!

Terry "

Thanks, since I snapped that pic I took out the factory QD into the PM45, replaced it with another swivel and QD, and shortened that gray hose (it now runs in behind the rack of plumbing and up to the added swivel. I got a bit nervous at the chance of that longer hose getting snagged and pulling sideways on hard plumbing into the plaz itself. It's quite a bit nicer now.

Shield, I stole (errr, borrowed :D) your pics and a "still" is somewhere on my project list - about #47, maybe - short term, I added ANOTHER of the Astro painting filters directly to the output of my 5 horse compressor. Now I can open an air nozzle anywhere without being able to SEE the "air"

Between that, an autodrain and valving off the comp. at night, it's working well enough for now.

Still wanna still, though :licking: ... Steve

Shield Arc,
That's a beautiful setup. Reminds me of some apparatus that used to be scattered through the woods in my part of the country. There were two on my grandparents place.
