Do you guys not have a drag cap option like the Lincoln plasma cutters? Of course Circle Wiz makes a holder to keep the head off the surface, and using a straight edge guide, one can make some accurate cuts. They also have the circle cutting kits.

The newer torches do have them if the customer chooses the newer torch option. Since they are trafimet brand torches, we send them out with regular nozzles and the other tips can be sourced through trafimet which does market through many local welding supply stores in the US.

The torches we have available through trafimet will cover all series:
s 45 (same as hobart et al) PP 50
A 81/P 81(P series= machine torch) PP 60-80
A 101 PP 100

But even on the older ones, we have had rolling standoffs for most of the units, which actually provide a smoother "glide" than the other name brand ones. The old PP60 torch only had a wire guide standoff, not as good, but it did offer a way to drag and cut, if the person didn't tear it up when removing it. The rolling standoffs actually provide an easy way to make perfect bevel cuts as well. Most circle cutters can be adapted to use on our units.

It is the moisture in the air supply that gives the plasma trouble not the outside air. Dry the air with various filters and moisture absorbing products.

Corrosion can be a factor, so is shorting from water collecting on circuitry.
