Everlast has a pretty good deal on their welders right now...20% off or so. I have been saving up my credit card reward points to use towards a welder for awhile. I really don't get to weld as much as I want, but I have always wanted to play with TIG some more. Saw the deal on the Power i-Tig 200T and couldn't resist! I see some late nights in the garage in my near future...

I will be picking up some consumables at AirGas this weekend in preparation for the new welder. :drink:

I am getting ready to pull the trigger (as it were) on a iMig 275. Any opinions on whether I should get the s or the p model? I don’t know if I need the pulsed spray arc capability.
For a little background info, I already have a small Lincoln 220 welder that I intend to leave setup with .023 wire and a Miller syncrowave 200 tig machine.
I need the ability to weld up to 3/4 inch around the farm and class 8 size trucks. Also will use as a portable stick machine since the Miller is not portable at all.

That's going to be doable with the 275 models. But you will benefit from the P feature at somepoint, I am pretty sure. Ifyouwant one let me know.

Looking at Everlast PowerMTS 221Sti:
Can't find PDF copy of Manual anywhere on the internet? Help.
Did they drop "Pulse MIG" from the 221Sti ? Why ?
What are Max Amps for MIG/TIG, 221Sti, at 120 volt and at 240 volt ??

Want to weld at different places on my farm:
Have: Millermatic 180 MIG, Everlast PowerPlasma 60, Everlast PowerTIG 250EX -- all are 240 volt ONLY.
Can someone recommend a Generator that will work with all of the above and future Everlast Welders. Do not want poor quality generator that will hurt the welding machines.

The 221Sti did not have pulse MIG, only pulse TIG was never designed with it. There's so much going on with the unit, it is hard to add more at this point and time without making it too confusing for the customers to set up. Plus pulse MIG for a 200 amp welder is not especially useful.
200 amps for MIG and TIG on 240. 125 Amps on 120V.
160 amps for Stick on 240, and if I recall correctly, 100 amps on stick.

Northern Tool has a PowerHorse line of welders that are clean powered. I don't know about the MIller's requirements but their 11kw powerhorse should fit the bill for both of your units from Everlast.
