Although the lower crossbar means that the Wicked Root Grapple isn't as good as some at nabbing brush, let it not be said that it cannot yank tree stumps, roots and all out of the ground!
A little context here. My tractor weights better than 4600 pounds before adding a Cat2 Quick Hitch, a 1200ish pound loader, the 450 pound 72" wide Wicked Root Grapple and 1250 pounds of Rim Guard filling all four tires. So 7500 pounds or so before adding a 9-1/2' long heavy brush cutter that weighs another 1300 pounds. And the Wicked Root Grapple is taking enough force to lift one rear wheel right off of the ground!
The only thing bending was the stump that I ripped out of the ground.
The grapple excels at grabbing logs. Two logs this size are easily picked up at once if the tractor's loader can do it.
EA's Wicked Root Grapple is easily my go-to tool for my loader!

Have you had any limbs catch the grease certs on the grapple?

No. The zerks are on the top of the grapple lids out of harms way.

I want the 72 inch single lid real bad! I could really use it on my most recent food plot, the excavator made a mess removing all the stumps.

Yeah, I almost went with the 72" but I didn't think I'd miss three inches on either side. I'm just going to run it of my rear remotes for now and save my pennies for a third function.

Awesome pics Eric! I was a little worried about getting such a light grapple for a 60 HP tractor but from everything I see I think it will be just fine. My 72" Wicked Grapple will be delivered tomorrow. Now all I'll be waiting on will be my tractor...

You may have the right idea going with the 66 inch, save some money over the 72. Maybe I'll be able to swing it next spring. Post some pictures when you receive it, if you don't mind.
