Any idea the size and type of hydraulic connector this takes? Is kubota’s 3rd function on an L3940. IMG_3556.JPG

what is the bottom fitting ? Looks like a cap.just take the cap with you to the store and match it up. I bought mine at TSC.

Thanks, I have decided on the 42" pallet forks (2200 pound). I am leaning towards the Wicked Root Rake Grapple, but haven't decided which yet. I am still split 50/50 on the 55" vs 60" grapple.

I know I have been extremely happy with the 55". Two weeks ago we pulled old fence with it and removed the fence posts. After that, I tore down an old chicken coup that was on its last leg.

The biggest issue I have, the weather hasn't allowed us to get our ever growing burn pile burnt up.

I spy a Wicked playground up there, BRMyers!

Weather? Yeah, it's been awfully wet and nasty down here. Mild temps for the most part, though.

BRMyers I think everyone is in the same boat with this weather.

Yeah, I read a report that it is the second wettest winter on record, which could lead to nasty Spring flooding. I may need to use the grapple to build a bridge across the creek.

Yes, it's going to be a wet one. That is one reason I live at 2400'. The power of water is frightening to me.

They are calling for a warmer than normal spring so maybe that will dry things up a little.

They also called for a very cold winter with tons of snow. It’s been a very mild winter and we only got maybe 3 inches of snow in Ohio.

More rain and 70s here today. :boat:

We need some sunshine for new attachments testing and Ted's also ready to make some new how-to videos in the field.

I agree BrokeFarmerJohn, this winter hasn't been bad. Definitely missed with the cold snowy winter, but were not done yet.

Send him out west... we haven't seen a raindrop since January. I'm sure I can find something useful for him to do :D

That may work...as long as he can use your tractor.

It is 13°F outside my window in the afternoon here in north-central Minnesota and it has been cold enough to shatter the plastic off of hammers. Missed winter... LOL

that's just a normal thing for the older snap on hammers they'll replace it with they're "new" style. I've seen them blow apart when it's 70

JMHO, but a 'narrower' grapple reveals an unbalanced load R-L right away as you lift, weighs less itself, also has better side clearance and is more easily maneuvered say to a stack (no pile) and/or in tight quarters. Mine is 48" wide vs 60' most everything else for all three CUTs.

When digging roots, a narrower grapple requires less traction before you spin tires in that it's literally down to hp/tooth, not unlike hp/plow-bottom.

In that role it may also have less leverage to twist loader arms, tip tractor, .. what could a guy get into?

Here is my Wicked 55" on the Branson doing a little work. I think it fits the tractor nicely!
