So this might seem like a strange question, but why are you intent on putting your garage on the back corner?
Why not stick it up between your house and the neighbors about half-way into the lot from the street and a serviceable distance off the lot line so you can work around it?
I'm going to guess that you're trying to distance the noise? You can build a lot of sound proofing for less than you can build your super long driveway.
Personally, I would stick it in between just so I didn't have to look at the neighbors place out that side of the house.
The plan is a 36x30 with attic trusses. I don't want it to seem as another house and I want the focus to be on the house when you come up the driveway, not the garage. I can plant trees/bushes like leyland cypress to block the neighbors if I want.
