You end up getting grease in your gear oil. Its not like grease isnt a lubricant, so its not that big of a deal. You are only putting a bit of grease into a fair bit of gear or hydraulic oil. I run an old flail mower gearbox with failed seals on pure grease.

Check the parts catalog for that model, there is no path for the grease to go between the pivot point and the inside of the front differential. That used to be the case on some older models, specially B series. My old B7000 was like that.
Forcing too much grease the front axle pivot points on most tractors results in blowing the o-ring that seals the pivot points. These Japanese and Korean tractors are built for rice paddies, meaning the tractors are ran buried all the way to the axles, so they want to prevent water and mud to get inside those pivot points, hence the o-ring.
It's not an huge deal blowing that o-ring out if you're not working on rice paddies but it still prevents water, moisture and dirt from sneaking in.
