Yesterday I 'filled' my (new) 20CF. It all works as I thought it might. I used an 'empty' cylinder (with some remaining Ar/CO2) to fill/purge/fill/purge about 10 times. I hope that's clean enough.
Donor bottle (the 2050psi 80cf) gets noticeable cooler. The empty bottle (the 20) gets noticeable warmer. I stopped at one point and let them equalize temp (somewhat) for a half hour then finished up.
Starting with a fresh 80cf at 2050psi I ended up with 1700psi in each, and it looks like about 2 lbs of gas transferred into the 20cf.
