Sickle Bar Experience with 3 Point Bar and Sickle

I bought the Italian First Choice (or Superior - same thing) #394 seven footer from
Sweet Farm Equip. in Ky. They shipped it to Vermont for $119 (500 lbs).
Had it shipped to loading dock at work. $2198 for mower, $300 for hydraulic
lift option and $119 shipping. That was march of 2004.
No problems- works great, and Sweet stocks parts - had to replace a few knives I broke. I have 1 mile of road both sides to do and couldnt live without it.

I bought a new 3 PH 7' Tonutti Sickle Bar mower two years ago. It's imported from Italy and is also sold under other brand names such as Gaspardo. The Frontier sickle mower looks identical to it. It is a very good mower -- well built, cuts fast, rarely clogs.
