That sounds great David! Have been promising to take the wife back to DC one of these days and BBQed pork, good beer, and country folk would be just the perfect break after a few days in DC!

On an island north of here a guy planted european wild boar on a grazing lease, used to trade him crab for pork but the feds went and killed all the pigs It was nice being able to get pork! I do get all the venision and buffalo I want but it is not the same as those little piggies!

I've got 4 harleys (actually one is a Buell S2 hooligan) and that is one heck of a story sir! Glad it ended well.

I would love to raidse my own semi-wild hogs, but if hey escape VA frowns on that, and I have not figured out how to contain them and not have them destroy the property.

Mine came from my time in the military..... As a heavy equipment mechanic, during a couple of deployments - The equipment operators kept reffering to me as "Doc" when they had problems with thier "sick" machines.....
Then, one of my guys painted the name across the side of one of our service / tow trucks when we deployed to Somalia (If you're out there reading this, Scott, thanks!!)I started using the name when I needed a "handle" and stuck with me ever since....
