Extra knob on seat?

Anyone have an idea what this little three pointed knob does? The one down and to the left of the seat spring tension control. Hard to turn when not sitting on the seat but easy when I'm on it. I see nothing in the manual.

Just a wild guess, but is it a lock for sliding (back/forth) adjustment?
Might be a pull out device that pops into different adjustment holes.

Crank it to the plus side if the seat bottoms out when you sit on it.

That is a height adjustment.

Here is another vote for a height adjustment.

Mine is a different brand, but clearly marked and does change how high it goes.

I think it is the suspension adjustment for differences in operators weight. I had to increase mine so it didn't bottom out when I sat on it.

Mine has a knob down there, too, but it's for adjusting the speed of the 3PH movement.

That's what it does on mine also. Stiffens the seat suspension.

You guys got that all wrong, that's the knob that sends the distress signal to the auto bots and your tractor will transform and blast at things for no reason, be careful with that one.

Nah, it's more to do with adjusting the seats BCVC* air flow.

Yup. Unbelievable.

That knob sets the maximum "up" travel of the seat's suspension. I set mine to use all of the suspension, which is maximum "up". As I already said, you have to load the seat to make it easier to turn the knob.

Three of us knew what we were talking about.
