I think what is confusing some may be the tire lingo. Kubota calls them bar-turf, but they are really a small verson of a R-1 Ag tire.
I used the Bx-2200 with them today, leveling a spot in the woods with the york rake, for my trailer.
As with the R-1 tire, using them on wet/soft grass areas will dig it up, especially when turning.
It is a aggressive tire and works well in soft materials.
My turf tires tended to slide & spin, more so when dragging the box scraper or york rake. For mowing, the turf tires are the best choice.
Again, in responding to the initial post, I reccomend buying both sets of tires, if you are going to frequently work the tractor, dragging ground engaging stuff in soft/loose materials. I wish I had, after employing the trial & error method of learning.
