I was going to get a ym 2000BD, but as you see in a previous post, the deal fell through. Now I am looking at an FX28. Are the F series harder to get parts for? I hardly see them mentioned in the forum. When people ask questions there don't seem to be too many replies.

cfoxmd,
The reason there are not many of those tractors mentioned is that they are still relatively new. The 1510, 2000, etc have been around twice as long as the F series. They are just starting to trickle into the US. It is true that you are les likely to find a dealer that has parts in stock for those tractors but they can still be ordered.

Hope this helps.

I have an FX24d and many of the everyday parts (filters, seals, etc) are the same as the earlier models. I have on order some latches for the engine covers and they are coming from Japan. In fact, some cosmetic parts might be more readily available than the older models.

Only problem I have had was a leaky front seal that was fixed under warranty. From the previous threads you can see that Koyker sells a bolt on FEL.
