John Deere owner since 2004. The mower has a 72" deck and serves us well.
Last year it became hard to start. It was dealer serviced last year, fuel lines, pickup tubes, lines blown, but the problem persisted until I decided to install a electric pump, Mr. Gasket type, 4 - 7 PSI. The tractor started right up and ran all last seacon without any trouble.
This year started out fine. I cut 2 acres and then the mower started to loose power. I shut it down and took a short break. After 30 minutes or so the mower started up and I cut another acre until it lost power again. I turned it off and waiting 1 -2 minutes. It started and ran with full power but after 10 minutes it lost power again. I suspect the electric pump is loosing pressure.
I asked the dealer to look into a replacement mechanical pump.
