F150 - buy out my lease or Lease new?

We leased a 18 on 12/29 it's a 4x4 extra cab STX package with the extra cab. I had a Ford private cash ( loyalty rebate) that was used after all dealer rebates etc were factored in and I put another 1k down that went toward registering it, first months payment and security deposit ( refundable ). This is a 42k truck new and the lease is 36 months, 12k miles a year and 408.00 a month which included taxes and a $6,000 waver for damage at the end of the lease. ( I can bring it back with 6k in damage and it costs me nothing )
...The residual is 24k +/-... this was absolutely a no brainer for us. It's 100% tax deductable for our business.. and at 36 months.. I give them the keys..

It’s a 17 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi 4x4. That is a gorgeous area, love it up there.

Me too. I am up here right now. Spent the last hour or so of daylight out on the deck last night, watching the big snowflakes drifting down. Here is the view, with the guard dog watching carefully, to make sure no squirrels attack is.

That's a great view you've got there! We are 1/2 on watchdogs. Our Labrador is more interested in chewing on tree branches, but the border collie is always going 100mph to ensure no bird, squirrel, sheep, horse, or chicken is left unstared and unbarked at. The funny part for us is none of them even bat at eye at her anymore. She thinks she's working though, so more power to her.

Believe it or not, that is a lake out there. Normally at this time of the year, the ice is already melted, but it could be another month or so yet!

Update: the 2016 F150 that I bought off of my own lease is still going strong! Just put new brakes all around after 125,000 km. (About 80,000 miles.)

I love this truck!
