The ultimate mowing machine is the Kubota F model with the deck out in front of you and not behind or under you. They cost a lot more than the other mowers but they are worth it to those discriminating individuals/mowers that want the best, fastest, easiest to maintain and most comfortable to use.
I've used this mower to mow a rental property and so the deduction has disappeared and I need another new one to pick up another deduction. Enjoy the use of the money or give it to the Gvmnt. I'd rather spend some of it myself on equipment that makes my life easier and saves me some time which at my age I have less left than I used to.:) I don't want to waste any more of it than I have to mowing grass.
I want to sell my F2680E 60" rear discharge front deck before I order another one. I've got 92 hours on it so it's just broken in and ready to mow. It will have about 2 more in a week since I have to mow next week.
The seat adjusts weight and slides, tilt steering wheel, cup holder, about 11 gallon fuel tank, adjustable arm rests. It is one fast, reliable mowing machine. Now to figure a price. The Kubota build your own site has a new one for around $18500 plus taxes so I'm thinking $14,500 flat out cash for a near new one would/will be a steal for someone. Mine is just like new except for some grass stains on the side of the mowing deck or paint rubbed off, not sure. Any way here are some pictures. If your interested or know someone that is call me. 606-687-0008 Barlows has offered me a great price on my next purchase soooo I'm lowering the price to $12000.00 to pass on the savings. If F2680E is bought through Barlows I can reduce my state tax bill by several hundred dollars plus they deliver and finance used Kubota purchases and they will take trade ins.

My F3080 is 4wd but this F2680 is 2wd. I have really steep hills at home where I use he F3080. I took the F2680 home to try it and without the tires loaded it had some difficulty climbing the steepest hill, I had to raise the deck a bit to get it to pull the hill going forward. It would back up the steepest hills. Guess the pressure of the deck was enough to get it to slip but Steve Barlow told me it would probably do fine if I had the tires weighted. There is a pedal also that will lock both wheels to pull.
It is an unbelievable price and if bought thru Barlows can be delivered and financed with Kubotas low used equip rate.

Stopped by Barlows today and they still have the F2680e for sale. It looks pretty sad sitting there in this cold weather. Steve Barlow said the first person to give/finance $11000 can come get it and take it home.:cool2: Told him that's to cheap but he knows what he paid for it and what his overhead and profit margin is, still to cheap but it's his mower now.

Still too much for a 2WD IMO.

Since you are a competing dealer.......Do you have one for sale for less? How much did you sell your last 2wd F2680 60" deck with 125 hours for? If you had a new one, how much would you ask for it? I know you told me several months ago to not buy a new F3080 since Kubota was making a new model which never happened, what was that all about?

John, why is this thread in the forums rather than in the classifieds section? Sure looks like an ad for a used machine to me. Did you put it at the dealer on consignment or something? Personally, I appreciate Messick's giving their opinion of the price. Just let the thread die already. JMHO

I can see you really believe that. It would be dead if you hadn't revived it.
No, it's not on consignment. It belongs to Barlows who does have it for sale. Being the former owner and knowing the quality of the machine and it's history is why I put the info here so forum members that are hunting for the finest mower made will know about it, where it's located and how much the seller (Barlows) is asking for it.
For a competing dealer to knock another dealers price instead of offering one they have for sale and give their price is, well IMHO not, well my opinion has dropped a notch.
I don't think having something for sale has to go in ads and can't be posted here. Maybe the moderators will give their opinion on that.

I agree with the dealer... If he don't know, who would?

Doesn't look like you will be getting a " kick back " from your consignment. Why are you pushing a sale for a dealer ??
We all take some depreciation....... looks like your trying to save some of yours.
I agree with the masalser.... this isn't the classifieds. Have a great day !

John, you didn't revive a post from last May..... Did you ?
I feel some desperation here.... deal dragging on, losing more cash ?

I bought a used kubota f2680, it has most of the parts needed for the bagging system except the power flow unit. I have'nt had any luck finding one and dealers says it cant be bought separate from the bagger. Any help??
