Thinking of an F3680.
1. Do the doors come off? It's too hot around here to mow in a cab without taking doors off.
2. Snowthrower listed as 51", but width of machine listed as 54". Snowblowing is major use, I want to make sure this thing will work well.

Any other comments on these things? They're pretty pricey, but I want something that mows and blows snow really well, this seems to fill the bill.

I agree the 3680 is expensive, but like anything else, this is a purpose built machine and as such, you certainly get the performance out of it. There are many comments on TBN on the F series mowers, and the best are by John Thomas, look up his posts if you have a moment, he's owned several of various F modles.
The snow blower I have is an F5720, or 57" wide, 20" high. I had a 60" 3Pt on my B7800, sold that one in exchange for the 5720... It really works well. I've never much liked running my engines full RPM buy with this blower (as with the mowers) you should for best results. Anyway, I certainly can recommend the 57". As for the cab doors, I have a Curtis Cab on mine, and the doors can come off in a few minutes, quite easily. I take them off come grass season.
So, if you're looking at the 3680, you won't be sorry...

I just Googled f3680 snowblower and all the results had 52" snowblowers. Kubota lists the width at 53.9. This is the widest part of the machine not the width of the front wheels.. On my f2100 the front fenders stick out a little past the tires. On my F2100 you can also reverse the front wheels to change the width. I have a 52" blower on my 21hp and it does a great job. With an extra 15hp you should be unstoppable. Go on youtube and check out some of the videos. I love my F2100 and wish I could afford a newer model.

I agree with that 52" is the standard as shown on the Kubota site, but my dealer pointed out that they also made a 57" (hence the F5720 model name) and it does measure 57 wide and 20 high... And it is fun to operate isn't it, also agree, they are on the pricey side. I hope you can find a nearly new one line in did.

OK thanks, sounds like the width is not an issue. I'm going to go take a look at it probably this weekend.

I like them enough to have two, one 60 inch RD, the other a 72 inch RD.
I can not comment on the cab or blower. The oldest one was purchased in 2006 and is just shy of 1000 hours, Bought the second one last fall before they were discontinued because of Tier 4 emissions. Traded a ZD 331 60 inch down on the second one. One of the best kept secrets Kubota has/had.

My two are sitting in their garages and they seem to vibrate every time I get near them or walk by like they are anxious to get back to work:) which will probably be next week when it warms up again. Mine only run for mowing grass, no snow work.

I am late signing onto this thread but I am another (non snow) F3680 owner, solely use it as a grass mower with the grass collection system. My mulch pile is no joking, the size of a large car.
I used to use a ZD326 but a hilly property convinced me the 4WD and HP were a significant upgrade. Only other F3680 I have seen is the city municipality uses one for street side mowing. They are a scarce machine consequently few people know anything about them.

Sorry I don't think I answered your question very well. Cannot comment on the snow but as a grass cutter, the F3680 is fantastic. The combined functionality of snow + grass, should make the investment easier to justify.

Both of my Fs have returned to work after resting thru a long winter. After trying almost all other Kubotas suitable for mowing, I appreciate my Fs more every time I use them.
